Meet the Owner - Stuart Werren

Hello, welcome to Werrens Bedford. I am Stuart Werren, the director and owner of Werrens Bedford. Having worked in different sectors of the motor trade all my life, I am passionate about providing high class repairs and exceptional customer service.

I started my career in the automotive industry as an apprentice at a main dealer, learning through application of all disciplines in the repair process. I relished the challenge of taking a car from damaged to completed repair. After eight years working and learning in this environ-ment, I then moved into inspections, estimating and management, working for RAC Federation and then a prestige dealer network, where I managed their body shop for seven years. Throughout this time, I enjoyed both problem solving, working with multiple manufacturers, and seeing the automotive technology develop and then implementing this in the body shop. I gain great satisfaction from assisting and managing the repair of so many customer vehicles, at a time when customers can feel like there is no one on their side. 

Throughout these different positions, I noticed that too often, customers were let down by poor communication and customer service, and a lower quality of repair when repair centre have used unapproved methods, leading to stress and frustration. We all rely on our motorcars a great deal and can feel stranded when our car is involved in an accident or breaks down. With all this experience and these insights, I wanted to provide a repair centre which can deal with small and large repairs to prestige motors, and deal with insurance companies to make this process as stress free for customers as possible. I truly believe that it is the small things, as well as an excellent service which can make a stressful time more bearable. I have a passion for ex-ceptional repair quality and outstanding customer service. That’s why our moto is ‘Quality and Excellence’ – from start to finish.
